Award Winning Remodel and Redesign by DesignTech and Vogue Interiors
Kathy Guyitt, Florida State Certified General Contractor (1517959) and President of DesignTech of Southwest Florida, Inc. was recently honored at the 2011 Southeast Building Conference Aurora Awards as a member of Vogue Interiors’ award-winning team. Donna Overly, ASID, Interior Designer at Vogue Interiors, won an Aurora Award in the Kitchen Design (residences from $2,000,000-3,000,000) category for her contemporary kitchen redesign at a private residence in The Brighton at Bay Colony. DesignTech acted as General Contractor on this project and worked with Overly to fully execute her interior design concept.
The Aurora Award competition is open to builders, architects, interior designers, landscape architects and other home building professionals in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Award categories include attached for-sale homes, detached single-family homes, custom homes, kitchens, baths, interior merchandising, residential developments, rental apartments, recreational facilities, landscape design, retirement communities, remodeling, rehabilitation or historical restoration, commercial projects, energy-efficiency, water conservancy, solar energy, and green construction.
